Overview

When cockpit space is limited, a full-size race dashboard is not an option. Drag Dash packs a CAN bus dashboard into a round housing that fits gauge pods, steering columns, and minimalist panels.

Six simultaneous values, dedicated warning lamps, and touch-configured shift lights give you a custom race dash experience without a 7-inch mount. Built for drag, but equally at home in any tight standalone ECU build.

Compatible Standalone ECU Systems

Drag Dash uses the same CAN integration as Race Dash: connect to Megasquirt, MaxxECU, ECUMaster, or AEM and read the default data broadcast from your ECU software.

CAN Bus Integration

Two-wire CAN connection to your standalone ECU bus. The display listens to the same broadcast channels you enable for logging or other motorsport electronics.

Configuration happens on the resistive touch screen — set shift points and select which values appear without a laptop at the strip or track.

Drag Dash FAQ

What makes the Drag Dash different from a full race dashboard? +

Drag Dash is a compact motorsport display built for tight cockpits. It shows up to 6 critical values on a 2.8-inch round screen — ideal when you need a racing digital dash without a large panel mount.

Does it work with standalone ECU systems over CAN? +

Yes. Like the Race Dash, it connects to your ECU's CAN bus and reads the default data broadcast. Confirmed platforms include Megasquirt, MaxxECU, ECUMaster, and AEM.

Is this a good CAN bus dashboard for drag racing? +

It is purpose-built for drag and minimalist installs — shift lights, overboost warning, and alternator warning in a small round housing that fits where a 7-inch display cannot.

Can I configure shift lights without a laptop? +

Yes. Thresholds and behaviour are set directly on the resistive touch screen, including with gloves on.

Does the Drag Dash include GPS? +

No. GPS is not included — drag builds typically rely on ECU speed and timing data. For built-in 20 Hz GPS, see the BGauge Race Dash.

How do I order? +
